How long will it take to increase my language skills?

Progress depends on many factors : your motivation to learn the language, your prerequisites, your attention during lessons, the time you devote to learning French outside the classroom, your mother tongue, your age...

I try to create a serene and progressive learning environment to improve all your CEFR skills (oral and written comprehension, oral and written production, interaction).

Learning a language takes time, especially when you have to learn the basics of vocabulary, grammar and phonetics...
During the first session, I can present you with a plan for learning French, taking into account your specific needs and the reasons that motivate you to learn French. Book a session so we can discuss it and evaluate the required time to reach your goal!


Does one of my friend assist the lesson?

Discussion sessions can be held with several learners.

However, I don't accept more than three learners, as I want to ensure that everyone has a discussion time to improve their oral production skills and vocabulary.


How often should I attend sessions with you?

It depends on a number of factors, such as your motivation, your knowledge, the time you can devote each week, your attention span during the sessions...

Should I need anything in particular?

You need

  • a computer (with webcam & micro),
  • an Internet connection.


I provide you with all course materials during the lesson. Moreover, you will have access to everything after class on a specific platform.

Do I have to use my webcam during the sessions?

I recommend that you use your webcam during the sessions so that you can observe your pronunciation and - if necessary - correct it more easily.

Who can attend Progressive Follow-up?

Progressive Follow-Up are suitable for everyone: teenagers, students, adults... I work a lot with beginners, but I can also help you if you have an intermediate or advanced level.

I prefer to work with learners over the long term rather than in a single session. This allows learners to create a learning routine that will better anchor learning in their long-term memory.

Concretly, what happens in a Progressive Follow-up?

During a Progressive Follow-up,

  • The first session is used to discuss you: what are your needs? Why do you want to learn French ? Do you have a basic knowledge? Would you like to live or travel in France? Have you already passed a diploma such as DILF, DELF, DALF, TCF? Based on all the information you've given me, I'll propose a language learning plan that we'll discuss together.
  • The following sessions will follow the learning plan to develop all your language skills (oral and written production, oral and written comprehension, interaction) and language tools (vocabulary, grammar, conjugation, pronunciation). Cultural aspects are also integrated into the lessons (films, series, music, culinary recipes...).
  • My courses follow the evolution of the CEFR, moving from levels A1-A2, to B1-B2, and finally C1-C2.
  • I always start from a contextualized French situation to develop the tools of the language and carry out a series of varied, interactive exercises.
  • I constantly evaluate your learning to ensure that it matches your needs and coincides with real-life, concrete learning situations.
  • At the end of the course, you'll receive an e-mail with all the course materials used: text, video, song, podcast, games, interactive exercises. Everything can be reused outside the classroom as often as you like. You'll also receive feedback on what you've mastered, what you'd like to learn and what you'd like to improve. and what you absolutely must work on.


If you have a specific request, please don't hesitate to contact me. I can help you work on specific points of the language (e.g. learning only medical vocabulary, mastering how to send an e-mail to a manager to ask for something...). This type of course can take place over one or more sessions.

What does the lesson price include ?

The lesson price includes :

  • lesson time ;
  • preparation and creation of specific material training ;
  • use of materials after the lesson ;
  • a summary of the session after the lesson, specifying which aspects of the language have been mastered, which need to be improved and which must be worked on.


How do I pay you ?

Payment is made when you book your session and should be done before the session.

Can I book a different time session from one week to another one ?

You can schedule your lessons at a time that suits you best. Just check the times in the diary to see if I'm available.

So you can change the time slot each week according to your personal availability.

Can I reschedule a session ?

If you have planned a lesson and would like to schedule it at a different time, please consult the calendar to check my availability and send me an e-mail. I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Can I cancel a lesson ?

Any lesson can be cancelled. Simply send me a message.

Please note that if you cancel your lesson 24 hours before it is due to take place, no refund will be given.
